Ballygowan Turns to OnePosting™ to fulfill its e–Invoicing Needs

Ballygowan, Ireland's leading bottled water cooler company is using OnePosting to provide online invoicing to its customer base and is already enjoying significantly reduced invoicing costs.

Ballygowan's key driver in choosing OnePosting was the need for a secure Electronic Invoicing system that is simple for their customers to use, yet robust enough to facilitate their billing process. Instead of receiving paper invoices, their customers receive an email alerting them to access a secure online portal where they view and accept their invoices online. Customers have 24x7 access, so can view their invoices at their leisure.


In the first six months of rolling out this service, Ballygowan has already reduced postal invoices by 50%, which is the equivalent of enough paper to cover Croke Park each year.


Additionally, by moving their invoicing facility online, Ballygowan is enjoying improved debtor management and lower administrative costs.


“We have significantly reduced our invoicing costs”, says Catherine O'Mahony, Credit Control Team Leader, Ballygowan Water Cooler Division. “This is primarily through reduced postage, stationery and handling costs. Additionally, we are finding that administrative costs have significantly reduced. Since we started using OnePosting, we have experienced a considerable drop in the number of customer queries, enabling our staff to focus on other key areas. For example, one feature of OnePosting is a POD matching facility, where each POD is assigned to its relevant invoice online, so customers can view the relevant POD directly rather than asking us to source it. With one customer alone we have freed up two days a month of one Ballygowan employee's time, since they no longer have to create copy PODs for attachment to invoices. ”
