Accounting Automation Software Services Streamlines Retail Operations

TORONTO, May 31, 2017 — Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government agency for the promotion of international trade by Irish companies, today hosted the visit by Irish Minister of State, Seán Canney T.D. to its exhibition at the Store 2017 conference showcasing Irish retail technology companies.

OnePosting is an Irish company providing comprehensive accounts receivable and accounts payable automation software that integrates with a retailer’s existing ERP and accounting software. It streamlines processes, improves accuracy, reduces data entry and provides greater visibility into the enterprise. Over 50,000 members are using the OnePosting service across 29 countries.

Taking place over two days at the Toronto Congress Centre, Store 2017 is the annual conference of the Retail Council of Canada featuring thought leaders and participants from the retail industry across Canada and North America. OnePosting is announcing at Store 2017 its contract for the provision of accounts payable automation with Shoppers Home Health Care.

Welcoming the announcement Minister Canney said: “I warmly congratulate OnePosting and wish them and Shoppers Home Health Care every success with this initiative and partnership.”

Shoppers Home Health Care has benefited in many ways from the deployment of OnePosting. This includes faster invoice throughput, increased accountability, and releasing staff from administration work to focus on shop floor activities while increasing management visibility. Retail outlets, central finance teams, and vendors can view invoices and drill down to view the status of any invoice. In addition, automated screening helps to protect Shoppers Home Health Care from nuisance or fraudulent invoices. According to Joan Quinn, Senior Director Vendor Services, Loblaw Companies Ltd, the revised process from OnePosting “makes managing and processing invoices easier for our team and our vendors. A shared timeline on every invoice streamlines our trading relationships and removes paper processes, benefiting everyone.”

“Managing cash flow is obviously critical to the health of retail enterprises,” noted Leo McAdams, Divisional Manager, International Sales and Partnering of Enterprise Ireland. “OnePosting has developed an innovative and intuitive technology that enables retailers to better manage cash flow by streamlining their invoicing and accounts receivable processes, but also delivering efficiencies and eliminating unproductive tasks in the back office.

We are pleased to support OnePosting in its development in North America and are looking forward to working with retailers across Canada here at this conference.”

Mark Duffy, OnePosting added “Canada’s retail market presents a dynamic and attractive opportunity for OnePosting. Our toolset is an evolutionary development that cost-effectively and seamlessly makes legacy accounting and ERP suites more effective. In doing so, OnePosting speeds processes, eliminates redundancy, improves accuracy and offers retailers more control over how they view and manage their businesses. We’re grateful for the support of Enterprise Ireland here at Store 2017 and we look forward to expanding our presence in the Canadian retail community.”
